Baghdad - (AFP) A drone was shot down on Wednesday near Baghdad International Airport, a day after another drone was shot down in the same area, two security sources told AFP. An Iraqi security source said: "A drone was shot down near Baghdad airport without any human casualties or material damage." On Tuesday evening, a drone was intercepted near Baghdad airport, hours after security forces announced they had seized nine rockets and a launcher targeting the airport. The airport hosts a military base that houses a logistics team attached to the US Embassy. Another security source confirmed the incident.
