The Iraqi Football Federation's media channel reported on this departure. It is worth noting that the under-19 national team is led by an Iraqi coaching staff headed by Ahmed Salah as head coach, Ahmed Manajid as assistant coach, and Akram Sabih as goalkeeping coach, in addition to Abdel-Jabar Hashem, the team's manager. The channel stated in a statement: «The training camp includes playing two friendly matches against the UAE under-19 team, with the aim of raising the technical and physical readiness of the players before the upcoming commitments».
