The Iraqi Police SC has signed Syrian professional Fahd Youssef to represent the team in the current season. Youssef previously played for Police SC and was one of the key players who contributed to the team's victory in the Iraqi League over the past four seasons. The coaching staff, led by Egyptian coach Mumin Salim, was not convinced by the technical and physical condition of Algerian defender Tarik Aqun. As a result, a new player was signed. On the other hand, the signing of Algerian defender Tarik Aqun has caused a crisis between the club and the player.
