In Baghdad, the administrative board of Amana Baghdad football club met with the first-team players, attended by board member and team supervisor Ahmed Azet al-Musawi, and the new coach Taaer Ahmed. A statement from the club's media office said, "The meeting came as part of the administration's keenness to follow up on the team's situation and to understand the reasons for the achieved results." It is worth noting that Taaer Ahmed had previously served as a technical advisor to the former coach Ahmed Khalif in the Amana Baghdad team.
