Baghdad: Australian coach Graham Arnold, head coach of the Iraqi national football team, has decided to exclude five players from the list of 28 players called up for the training camp currently underway in Mexico. The reason was the unpreparedness of some players and injuries to others. The five players excluded from the squad are: Youssef Al-Amin due to lack of physical fitness, Munaf Yunus due to injury, Ali Al-Hamadi who is not physically ready due to his recent return from an injury, Karar Nabil who is also not ready, and Zidan Iqbal.
