Iraqi sources from within the Erbil sports club have confirmed that the management of Egypt's Al-Ahli club have submitted an official offer to Erbil's management to sign their first-team football striker Mustafa Kabil during the winter transfer window. The sources also confirmed that «there is complete seriousness from the management of the century club on the African continent to sign the Iraqi player Mustafa Kabil». They added: «Al-Ahli's management offered Erbil's management a financial amount close to 300,000 dollars in exchange for obtaining Mustafa Kabil's player card, and did not stop there, but due to its very great desire to sign Kabil to its first-team football squad, it also offered an alternative option to complete the deal through Kabil's transfer».
