
The main executive director of British Petroleum, Bob Dudley, expressed optimism regarding the development of the Gulf of Mexico region, where the company has 10 billion barrels of resources for development. He also mentioned plans to work at the Kirkuk oil field in Iraq. Dudley made statements during the "Energy Week" organized by S&P Global. He noted that the company will focus on "projects with lower costs and higher revenues." Dudley reported that over the past weeks he has met with 40% of shareholders, and all of them, according to him, have remained completely satisfied. He also mentioned plans to increase production in the U.S. alongside the Near East. "We plan to increase production in all our major markets - in the U.S. and in the Near East," said the head of BP.
