Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia' Al-Sudani met with Turkish Minister of Energy Alp Arslan Bayraktar to discuss enhancing cooperation in energy resources.

The leader of the Iraqi government, Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani, confirmed a meeting with the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alperen Arslan. In the course of the negotiations, it was emphasized that the two countries are striving to strengthen economic cooperation in various areas, including energy.

He noted the importance of further developing relations between Iraq and Turkey, the Prime Minister expressed the intention of both countries to continue working together to achieve common goals. He also emphasized the need to improve cooperation in the field of energy and the importance of joint projects in this area.

"We see the prospects for increasing trade volumes between our countries and believe that joint projects in the energy sector can contribute to strengthening our relations," emphasized Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani.

In turn, the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector and expressed confidence in the prospects for the development of joint projects.
