The Iraqi Football Federation has appointed Hakim Shaker as the head coach of the national team for the tournament "Legends of the Persian Gulf".
Shaker, who previously worked with youth teams in the country, will lead the national team at this prestigious event.
He expressed his joy about the opportunity to work with experienced footballers and promised to do everything possible for the team to show a decent result.
"This is a great honor for me to lead such a talented group of players. We are ready for the challenge and strive to demonstrate our best game at the tournament," said Shaker.
