The Iraqi Football Association reported that the International Football Federation (FIFA) required the Palestinian Football Association to improve its operations. FIFA also set a series of requirements that must be fulfilled.

The Secretary of the Iraqi Football Association emphasized that FIFA demands the Palestinian Football Association to hold new elections. Additionally, FIFA recommended changes to the rules of the Palestinian Premier League. In the case of non-fulfillment of the requirements, the Palestinian Football Association may be excluded from membership in FIFA.
