The Iraqi national team achieved victory over the Saudi Arabian national team with a score of 1:0 in the second round of the Asian Under-20 Football Championship taking place in China. The only goal in the match was scored by player Amouri Faisal, who scored from a direct free kick in the 25th minute of the match, whose ball mastery proved to be in the goalkeepers.

During the game, Ali Mukhlid and Saleh Al-Barkawi were sent off from the Iraqi national team in added time. The Iraqi national team is now leading in Group B with four points, one point ahead of the Jordanian national team, which defeated North Korea (2:1). The Saudi Arabian national team is in third place with three points, while North Korea remains in last place with one point.
