This recent situation mainly involves the referees' difficulties, who face enormous challenges during matches due to the lack of necessary support and organizational work from the federation. "We have serious problems with the Iraqi Football Federation. We are not receiving the necessary support, which is reflected in the quality of our work on the field," noted one of the referees.
It was also indicated that without timely assistance and support from the federation, referees are inevitably delaying the conduct of matches in order to draw attention to their problems. "We are forced to take such measures, as otherwise the federation's leadership will not pay attention to our difficulties," added another referee.
It should be noted that recently the referees representatives addressed the Iraqi Football Federation with a request to consider their appeals and take measures to improve working conditions on the field. "We hope that our voice will be heard and our situation will change for the better," concluded one of the referees.
