Sources within the Iraqi national team have stated that Majed, who plays for the Swedish club Hammarby, will be absent due to a sudden illness that occurred just hours after his last match for the club. This season, Majed has played 26 out of 30 games for Hammarby, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
