The Iraqi Football Federation announced the roster of the U23 national team that will compete in the AFC U23 Asian Cup, scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia early next year.
The squad, named by head coach Imad Mohammed, includes 23 players. Among them are Kamil Saadi, Hussein Hassan, Samaa Ali, Kadhim Raad, Muslim Musa, Adam Talib, Youssef Imam, Abbas Adnan, Hussein Faeih, Sajjad Mohammed, Abbas Fadil, Hamid Ali, Abdul-Razzak Qasim, Haider Abdul-Karim, Ali Sadiq, Ali Makhld, Yaser Saam, Amori Faisal, Ahmad Aied, Mohammed Jamil, Ayman Luy, Mustafa Qabil, Mustafa Nawaf.
Coach Imad Mohammed emphasized that the team is prepared for the tournament and hopes to deliver a strong performance.
