According to the statement of an Iraqi woman, her husband turned out to be married to seven women, three of whom are from Baghdad, while the others are from different provinces, with the aim of trafficking. The woman noted that they all communicated via WhatsApp and clarified that they all became victims of the same man.
She reported that he possessed 25 million Iraqi dinars and sums in hard currency, claiming that he acquired a joint plot of land, after which he disappeared and sent her a document on divorce. According to the woman, he proposed marriage in accordance with Iraqi traditions, and three days after the wedding, he disappeared, then returned and disappeared again for 15 days.
She added that the husband appeared again, but she discovered that he was already married to another woman. The woman noted that he is officially married to seven women and after a month or three, he received what he wanted, be it projects or money, after which he sent them a document on divorce in their absence.
According to Iraqi media, the man continued to marry women for several months, each time living with them for only a week, and he also rented luxury cars to show himself as wealthy and convince women to marry him.
