Security forces in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, arrested a drug dealer today who posed as an internist and surgeon to promote and sell his illegal products inside a clinic. During the raid on the fake clinic and the arrest of the suspect, authorities found 160 narcotic pills, a scale for measuring drugs, and used syringes. The clinic was located in the Al-Amari district. The fake doctor was discovered after another suspect confessed during interrogation that he was selling drugs in a fake clinic where the dealer was posing as a medical professional. The Rasafa District Command of Baghdad Police issued a statement regarding the incident and the arrest of the suspect, accompanied by a video documenting the moment of the clinic raid and the seizure of narcotics. The video, posted on the police's Facebook page, shows security forces confiscating drugs hidden in the clinic and apprehending the suspect without revealing his face. The police command confirmed that the suspect has been remanded in custody and an investigation is underway to take the necessary legal actions against him.
