Today in Iraq, an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded near Salah al-Din province, north of Baghdad. According to the Iraqi News Agency, Iraqi seismic observatories "recorded the occurrence of an earthquake within Iraqi borders, located about 35 km northeast of the city of Tikrit, in Salah al-Din province." The agency added that "its magnitude reached 4.4 degrees, and it was felt in most areas of northern Iraq."
