Iraq and Russia have signed a memorandum on cooperation in various areas, including the oil industry. This will allow Russian companies to participate in oil projects in Iraq.
This was stated by the Iraqi oil minister during a visit to Moscow. The sides also agreed on cooperation in other areas, such as energy and infrastructure.
"Signing the memorandum is an important step in strengthening relations between our countries. Russian companies will have the opportunity to participate in the development of Iraq's oil sector," noted the minister.
