Saudi Arabia, despite its oil wealth, directs slightly more than one million barrels of oil each day to local consumption. The gas reserves of Saudi Arabia are estimated at more than 215 trillion cubic feet, which equates to 81.8 times the annual consumption. This means that the country has roughly 82 years of gas reserves left.

Thinking about the future of energy, Saudi Arabia has revealed its vision, positioning itself as a leader in renewable energy. Recently, it has begun investing in nuclear energy and aerospace industries. The country is also focusing on creating the necessary infrastructure, including a legal framework for the development of artificial intelligence.
