Iraq Reaffirms Support for Palestinian Cause

Iraq has rejected any attempts to displace the Palestinian people, affirming its support for them across all areas. Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed the situation in Palestine with his Palestinian counterpart and emphasized Iraq's commitment to prioritizing Palestinian rights in the upcoming Arab Summit.


Iraq Reaffirms Support for Palestinian Cause

Today, Iraq announced its resolute refusal to make any attempts to abandon the Palestinians to take their land, reaffirming its support for them in all areas. Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Palestine, Mufakhamat Mustafa, during which they discussed the situation in Palestine after the ceasefire and the possibility of strengthening joint coordination to support the Palestinian people. The minister emphasized, according to the statement, "Iraq's unwavering position in supporting the Palestinian cause," stressing the "rejection of any attempts to abandon the Palestinian people and the importance of unified efforts to strengthen its steadfastness on the ground." Hussein noted that "Iraq will continue to maximally exert efforts to ensure that the Palestinian question and support for their rights remain top priorities on the agenda of the Arab Summit, which Baghdad will host this year."
