
The head of the Iraqi government, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, emphasized the need to restore the infrastructure in the country. During a visit to southern Iraq, where he reviewed several recovery projects, he also noted the importance of restoring infrastructure facilities, stressing that the halt of many construction sites hinders development and leads to budget waste without visible results. "We need to accelerate the pace of infrastructure restoration to ensure better conditions for our citizens," said Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani. He also pointed out the importance of controlling the quality of work and completing construction on time to avoid unnecessary expenses and delays. Emphasizing the current state of infrastructure in various regions of the country, the head of the Iraqi government highlighted the necessity of adopting measures to improve the situation. He stressed the importance of realizing infrastructure development projects and stated that improving public works will become a priority for the government in the near future.
