The media service of the Prime Minister of Iraq confirmed on Sunday the information that as a result of the attack by a drone on the Baghdad airport building, one person was killed and three others were injured. Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi condemned the incident, calling it a terrorist attack.
"The authorities are addressing military and law enforcement agencies, urging them to implement maximum measures to ensure the country's security and decisively prevent any attempts to undermine state stability," the statement said.
Iraq's Minister of Interior, Othman al-Ghanimi, reported that the incident occurred as a result of the downing of a lethal drone apparatus on the airport structure.
